Great little book and story for kids. My only gripe is that the pictures are maybe too good; my kids often lose the message of the story as they get distracted with the pictures on the page!

So glad I bought this book! I've done a lot of research online about safaris and there is so much information but it can sometimes be hard deciphering what is accurate or not. This book details out the locations and makes it easy to compare different locations. I was planning to go to a certain area and found out from this book that I actually picked a less than desirable time to go yet I found plenty of vacation packages online for that time. I have yet to take my safari but thanks to this book, I'm looking for a better time to go.

This was the only book I found that gave me the type of information I wanted to select an African safari trip. It is not perfect, but it was definitely extremely helpful. African safaris are expensive, and this book definitely helped me get the confidence to made this expensive decision.

I have limited experience with travel books, but this seems to be the one for a trip to Africa because there's little elso out there. The last time I used a Foders' extensively was 40 years ago, and that one was close to 50 years old then. This one has what appears to be very good advice and is Ray reading. The publisher has become very leftest formy tastes but the info remains useful for every kind of traveler.

This was a gift to coworkers/friends who were traveling to Africa, and it was a great gift. They use this book and really enjoyed having it. Rich colors and thorough information. Also has maps and animal identifications. Great book, thick too, and worth the money!

Info was good enough BUT there were no maps for most of it so the majority of the time I basically have NO CLUE where they are talking about. Is there a map they sell out there that you HAVE TO have to go with the book. I'll tell you what, I will buy another publishers map because this info should be included in this book. It's infuriating. Also, when discussing $$ the book starts in US $ but then shifts to R's - like I know what that is. I've been reading at the gym where I have no access to the currency rate of an R!!!! This could have been a good book.

Very informative book. Highly recommended for those like me who are planning a safari.

Jonathan S. Abramowitz, PhD, ABPP, is Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, Research Professor of Psychiatry, and Director of the Anxiety and Stress Disorders Clinic at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Abramowitz conducts research on anxiety disorders and has published over 250 articles, book chapters, and books. He serves as Editor of the Journal of Obsessive–Compulsive and Related Disorders and is on the editorial boards of several other scientific journals. He is past president of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and serves on the scientific and clinical advisory board of the International OCD Foundation. Dr. Abramowitz is a recipient of the Outstanding Contributions to Research Award from the Mayo Clinic Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and the David Shakow Early Career Award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions to Clinical Psychology from Division 12 of the American Psychological Association. I downloaded this book late one evening and did not begin reading until the next day, needless to say I'm finishing at 2:15 a.m. the next morning. I could not put it down. It's a light read, causes spontaneous laughter, yet keeps you spellbound with the mysteries. I highly recommend and I'm eagerly awaiting another Margie Peterson Mystery. Seems like I have found another author that I will follow.

I ordered this book because I love the author and it was an Amazon bargain. I also needed something fast to read until another Kindle pre-order arrived. What a pleasant surprise! The humor was non-stop. Marigold's thoughts on marriage and motherhood brought on memories of what life was like when I was a sixties stay at home mom and left me shaking my head and chuckling out loud. The amazing twists in the plot left me rolling in laughter. I was sorry when I reached the end and moved on to another good mystery. I can hardly wait to read about the further adventures of Margie and Peaches! I have recommended this delight to a number of friends who have called to thank me and let me know that they have a new favorite private eye.

A part time job for Margie Peterson opens up a whole new world for a stay at home mom with two small kids. And, if anything can go wrong, it will - and does! My sides hurt from laughing at some of the predicaments Margie finds herself in. Karen MacInerney's wonderful descriptions put you right there with Margie as she hunts for answers. Lots of intrigue with twists and turns in unexpected places that will keep you turning the pages. I can't wait for Margie's next assignment.

Margie Peterson is a housewife with two children. Her lawyer husband works long hours. She decides to get a job to help pay the tuition for her children's private school. She answers an advertisement to work for a PI firm, expecting to do filing. Much to her surprise she is hired on a temporary basis to follow a wayward husband to a bar. She dresses the part to try and pick him up and get photos for his wife. Unfortunately the bar is a gay bar and she is forced into a beauty contest with transvestites. once she gets away from the stage she makes a stop in the restroom to find a dead body that happens to have her home number as one of the last calls made.I have been a big fan of Karen MacInerney's Gray Whale Inn and Dewberry Farms series. I put off reading this series because it is not a cozy mystery. But, boy am I glad I decided to give it a try. Margie Peterson is hysterical, she gets herself into so many unique situations. I had to start the next book as soon as I finished this one!

There are just two kinds of books that cause my husband's head to swivel from his sudoku game (or from whatever he's busy with on his tablet) - books that make me cry (make that sob) and books that make me laugh.This is one of the most laugh out loud funny books I've read so far. Imagine a housewife, with two young kids and a busy husband, used to the day in and day out sameness of suburban life; getting a part time job as a private investigator; being naive and all, but somehow winging it on her first assignment (pardon me...I have to stop for a while as I am laughing while I recall the saran wrap and the McDonald's fry phone)....anyway, so it gets a little bit more complicated from that first assignment, with her pouncing on since she already has personal interests in the case...and the laugh goes on.There was a good mix of characters, and they were excellently built - it was practically like watching a movie, as I was able to vividly picture the costumes, their facial reactions, even their aura (gray or yellow?)!Even before I've finished the book, I was already prowling online for the second installment, but there's none yet; so I am eagerly waiting.

I bought this book on a whim, not really expecting much, but was I ever wrong!!! Exciting, thoroughly hilarious read. Just a quick glimpse into the storyline. A stay at home mom with a three and five year old, a lawyer husband, a marriage seemingly stale, and preschool tuition skyrocketing, cause the stay at home mom to look for part time employment. Her before children profession, advertising, isn't hiring out of the field for years/part-time professionals, her over bearing Junior Service League mother-in-law is pressing her into charity/volunteer work, so she has to find something fast. Acting on an ad in the classifieds, she drops in for a chance interview at a private investigative agency. She's hired on a trial basis pending success in securing photos of a philandering husband. Let the fun and mysteries begin! Can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a book with so much entertainment. Kick back and enjoy, there's just no end to the humor and excitement in the book. I'm getting ready to begin the next in series. Happy reading!!

Did not like this book at all....foul language just too much. The other series are so much better and I thoroughly enjoy them.

HMMM, I love her Gray Whale Inn stories set up in Maine. This book was unbelievable to me; the situations the protagonist was in. Really seemed silly to me. But, I love her other books. It was almost like this one was Janet Evanovich unbelievable. But her books set in Maine are well-done. Hope she goes back to them.

The stickers range in size from medium to large (largest is about the size of a 50c piece) but there are 22 stickers as advertised. The price I paid ($2) is comparable to most stickers you find at Target or Walmart. They stick well and are durable plus they're extremely cute. My daughter, who is obsessed with all things panda, loves them.

Absolutely love these stickers!!! So cuuute!! A word of advice, however: don't stick them on something that gets really hot. They will buckle and wrinkle a bit and come off on the edges, but they're so cute that I really don't care. Good product, great price, definitely gonna get again!!

Not many panda stickers out there to choose from so I was pleased when I found these. It's a nice variety of stickers and they look great on envelopes.

Engalco is well known for providing industry and market data reports in the field of microwave products for defense and SATCOM applications. From January 2014 Terry has been leading a new management and technology venture names Edwards Research Associates. Professor Michael B Steer, North Carolina State University, USA Michael Steer is the Lampe Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University (NC State). He is a Fellow of the IEEE (the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). I bought this book because I was thinking of building a cobra kit car and was curious. I've rebuilt a few motorcycles and have done a fair bit of work on cars but I'm by no means an expert. The book doesn't seem like it was very well written. There were several sections that were confusing and I just wasn't sure what the author was trying to say. It also seemed like there was a lot of "filler" with not much content.Overall the book is ok if you are looking to build a Factory Five Racing brand kit but if you are looking at other kits I wouldn't really bother with this. Also, as others have noted, he didn't do his own body work or electrical work but he did do a pretty decent job explaining the process and including pictures. Overall I don't regret the purchase but I wish the book provided more information and was a little bit clearer on some points.

You can get the build manuals on CD from Factory Five for $10. This is a nice supplement but comes across as quite promotional. When they had a build problem they tended to gloss over it instead of digging into it and telling why it was a problem and how to handle it. Some good tips - like dis-assembly of the sheet metal panels. Vendor information was pretty good. Didn't care much for the writing style.

I heard about this book (and met the author) while attending a car show at the Huntington Beach Pier in April 2012, came home and placed an order before it was released. Waiting was hard, but worth it. While the book focuses on the authors build of a Factory Five Roadster, the information it contains easily translates to other builds. If you are looking for a "basic how to bend fuel/brake lines etc. book" this isn't the book for you. However, if you are looking at building a replica of an American classic automobile and already have basic mechanical skills, this book will be a great reference. We have already built our Roadster, but I enjoyed the book and glad that we have it in our library.Ray

Terrible book. You'll learn nothing from this book. full of really obvious stuff. almost insults you intelligence really. zero insight. The author didn't even do the electrical himself and admits he doesn't really understand it.The parts that were marginally useful were paraphrased from the factory five manual.

This is a very useful review for a newcomer to Cobra replicas. The author focuses on Factory Five because this is the one his guide wa;ks through, but there is also ample background coverage and review of the other manufacturers, components and options.

Very thorough and well produced showing a lot of detail and giving tips along the way. I marked it down a little for repetition of brand names that looked as if they were paid advertorials.Some of the tables of kit contents from several different manufacturers were spread across too many column inches and looked as if they were produced that way to make the book look voluminous.Apart from these criticisms I was entertained and enlightened and can happily recommend this book to anyone thinking of building a Cobra replica, and especially an FFR kit.

This book is great if you are going to build a Factory Five Cobra. Lots of hints and helpful info to guide you through the steps. If you are wondering, "Can I build one" This book will show you that you can.

This book has good pictures, and some pretty good step-by-step info. But 95% of the information is specific to the authors exact build. So if you plan to build a factory five complete kit with IRS, with all new parts (the author says cars are only designed to last 120k miles so you sol if you want to use a parts car), a six speed trans, have an electrician do all the electrical work, have a machine shop build an aluminum 351 dart block motor with Holley EFI, have a shop build and install fuel lines, and have a body shop do all the painting, and fitting, this book is for you. Otherwise, I think the book is a bit overpriced.
